We recommend sharing traffic source information with Zeydoo during the conversion tracking process.
By passing traffic sources correctly, you gain more detailed statistics in Zeydoo. As a result, you can run campaigns more effectively and analyze statistics by traffic sources directly inside Zeydoo dashboard.
With passing the sources you get the ability to filter and block low-quality sources instead of whole zones, as it allows us to identify low-quality or fraudulent traffic with greater accuracy.
Instead of blocking an entire zone or disabling an offer, you will be able to selectively filter out only the problematic traffic sources on your side.
Better recommendations from our team on traffic optimization. When traffic sources are properly passed, our team can also provide actionable advice on how to optimize and clean up your traffic for better results.
Setting up passing the traffic sources.
Traffic sources can be passed to Zeydoo by adding the {var} parameter to your Postback link.
1. Get the Offer URL from Zeydoo
When you choose an offer in Zeydoo, the URL will contain two key parameters:
{ymid} → identifies conversions.
{var} → identifies the traffic source (ID).
⚠️ The var parameter must be no longer than 40 characters and may only contain the following characters:
a-z | A-Z | 0-9 | +!:/,?()$=.%[]_-
Example Offer URL:
2. Configure the URL in Your Tracker or Ad Network
Use the Zeydoo Offer URL when creating a new offer in your tracker/ad network.
Make sure that:
ymid is matched with your click/conversion ID macro.
var is matched with your traffic source (zone) macro.
A postback will be generated automatically.
3. Add the Postback to Zeydoo
Copy the postback generated by your tracker and paste it into the Postback URL field in your Zeydoo account.
Make sure that the parameter used for passing conversions is mapped to {ymid}.
This setup ensures that:
Conversions are reported back to your tracker/ad network.
Traffic sources and ad zones are forwarded to Zeydoo.
